Description
Got asked to do a fun commission, but I gotta come up with a new character for it. I kinda like this concept, so here it is. Might change the hand wraps/add an undershirt, etc. This has gone through a lot of revisions, and definitely still isn't done.Also, just to see if I'm giving off the right vibes with the design, what do you think the character is like? (What are they, what's their personality, etc.?)

She looks calm, possibly a little deadpan. Serious but not harsh, and probably some kind of athlete at a college or martial artist at a more formal dojo. I'm thinking she might be... Chinese? Just from the colors and some of the dress style. And she looks like she's more of an "advanced student" or upperclassman whose been training for a while by this point.

She looks like a very kind person and that she just loves what she does. Shes not someone who cares how muscalar she is. Further hmm I dont know if I look at her clothes she looks more like tomboyish girl but if I look at her face then she looks kind like I said earlier this comment

The commissioner has no ideas concerning the character. They're totally up to me. From what I can tell, she's giving off the right impression, but she needs a little adjusting.

Easy going person. The kind of person who doesn't brag about their skills or the fact they're incredibly muscular.

This is fairly stupid on my part, considering your past works... but I can't tell if this is a man or woman. Mostly because you haven't used he or she in the descriptions.

Alright. Everything worked for the most part. She is a touch too masculine; I agree with you there. Between the tomboy outfit, the more mature face, and the bodybuilder physique, there isn't a lot that screams "woman". I've gotta change the outfit a bit.

I think that one of the things that's affecting that is her hip/waist/shoulder ratio. Her shoulders are definitely wide, bonestructure-wise and not just bulky, I think. It's also bit hard to tell if her hips are wider than her waist due the sweatshirt tied around there, so she looks like she has a v-taper.

Thanks for the reply. I'm trying to address every one of those points already. Gotta find a good middle ground between shonen and bishoujo for this. I was tempted to just go full Valmet/Chiquita on this and tack on some giant boobs, but that's just stupid. Buff tomboys can look girly without boobs o' doom!
