a lot of my friend don't get those little jokes and word plays I make. they have to make me explain what I said. and I'm all like "come on, it's really not that hard to grasp!!"

that happens alot where i am, i also reference old books that not a massive amount of people get, but enough do oddly, exspecially when i reference japanese poetry to people who one never read manga and two never read japanese writings at all ps i don't read manga myself, just old poetry and novels

the oldest literal novel, the oldest novel in general though is the epic of gilgamesh debatably, but its an epic, so all poems and not necesarilly a novel, particularily since it was carve in stone while the tale of genji was printed on an actual press around 1000 (gutenburg invented the first western press, but korea had presses made a good 500-600 years earlier and spread them to china and japan among other parts of the orient)

not sure, i think the flash just creeped it out and stuned her, cameras are the one thing cats are chill about that dogs aren't chill with. its kind of odd
