From reading this, I just gotta say that I'd love to see you do a sketch dump or something with someone doing each one of the things you said. Like the look people get when they fall in love, when someone first wakes up, the daydreaming and the relenting over loved character's deaths, or even the smeared makeup and the crying, etc. I think you'd do an awesome job depicting it all

Not, I mean you should not smooth sheets, for mites, they prefer smooth, wet sheets. The wrinkles in the sheets dry bed and mites do not get it. That's what I mean for unmade beds

yeah, but if you wash your sheets weekly and vacuum your mattress monthly, the mites dont have a chance to really build up a huge colony even if you keep your sheets smooth as can be
granted, mites are totally harmless if you dont have an allergy anyhow. mites can live basically anywhere- in carpet, drapes, or piles of laundry. even a messy bed wont completely eleminate them from the bedding. trying to eliminate mites is usually a silly and misguided venture to begin with

I don't make my bed and once I tried explaining why to someone who did. I told them that the sight of a mussy bed that looks like I just climbed out of it is like a set of open arms welcoming me to crawl right back in, it's just so inviting. Their response was that beds can't be left unmade *twitch* and that they would infinitely prefer to lay down in a perfectly made bed then a messy one. In the end neither of us convinced the other. I still vote wholeheartedly for unmade beds.
