By tactical I mean that it can receive slight modifications quickly and easily to allow it to switch between a variety of roles. For instance, a standard M16A4 has a cylindrical polymer hand guard and metal carrying handle/rear sight, but a tactical M16A4 would replace all that with Picatinny rails, allowing it to mount a variety of sights, grips, lights, bipods, etc.

A rifle doesn't need to be tactical to be versatile, but I understand what you mean. What I don't understand is, if your meaning of tactical = versatile, then why would you doubt this rifle from being tactical if it's got all you mentioned before (full picatinny railing, scope, foward grip and bipod).

It's not the tactical I doubted, it's the FAL part. It certainly looks like a FAL, but there are a lot of weapons that copy it and I find it hard to recognize without it's distinctive hand guard.
However, I checked out your gallery and saw that it was indeed a FAL. Your pics look fantastic, thanks for making them.
