The personalities were cemented in the original comics, disregarded in the original cartoon show, and have been mined with reliable effects ever since the first live-action movie. And given all the AltArt out there, stylistic interpretation matter not at all.
Leo's the Big Brother, and the over-serious DAH LEE-DAH!
Raph's the self-conscious Beta Male and the reckless hothead.
Donnie's the techno-brainiac.
And Mikey's the Baby Brother, the comic relief and the party boy.
And they're all teenaged males, so this quadtych gets full ticks.
