IMPORTANT NOTE: PLEASE DO NOT USE MY IMAGES OF MY TATTOO OR ANYTHING ON MY DA WITHOUT MY PERMISSION! It has come to my knowledge that images of my tattoo are being STOLEN to be put up on facebook pages. I will NOT tolerate this. If you wish to use any of my images- ASK PERMISSION FIRST! It's not difficult guys and girls!Don't make me put a watermark right across the tattoo okay?
So I went to my 2nd session to get the coloring started on my Ariel tattoo at Time Bomb Tattoo in Croydon.
This session we focussed only on Ariel, and it took 3 hours to get her completely colored in minus-ing shading on her skin and cheeks to give her skin a bit of color. But after 3 hours I really had enough LOL!
Next step is in 3 weeks, where we'll probably focus on some of the background, flounder the shell coral composition on my ankle and her skin as they're all relatively small areas. I'm getting even more happier with the outcome as this develops and really can't wait to see it 100% finished!
This photo really doesn't do it justice in my opinion as you can't see the almost reflective look in her eyes and the precise detailing in the shading etc. XD

Ah man! I'm back to my 5-year-old self when the movie was first released (yes, I'm that old! lol). I was gun-ho on anything everything the Little Mermaid. This tat would be the icing on the cake. If I could, I would!!!!

Haha! This tattoo is VERY precious to me and very personal to me, so its probably a good thing you're saying "IF i could" because I dont want anyone stealing my tattoo design ^^ I was 2 when the movie came out and like you, I got as much as I could from the films' merchandise etc. This tattoo is an extension of how the film has impacted my life growing up and has a very personal story behind it.

I totally get what you mean. It is a breath taking piece of animation. Wow I've never heard that reason behind NOT getting a tattoo before lol! I'd rather not tell it to be honest, but I will say The Little Mermaid gave me hope to get through my childhood.
As for naming kids? I'd need a man in my life before I could even think about what I'd name my child lol!

Love the tat! I am 30 and know that ONE DAY I will be daring and get one. I'm thinking it will be in my 40s or 50s most likely. Question: How difficult is shaving now that it's on there? (The image of a stubbly mermaid is making me giggle!)

Thank you very much! You should if you find an image that means something to you, go for it! And to answer your question, in the first week at least 9though healing time differs from person to person) i couldnt shave at all, but after a week and the scabbing had been removed i could shave like normal as the ink is under the skin, but I have to be very light and careful so not to knock any of the ink out or anything (which is possible believe it or not!) but now its healed over i can shave like normal with no issues what so ever ^_^ Just have to make sure to moisturise afterwards with the aftercare
