my gosh I haven't uploaded anything on here for what feels forever!!!!

So to change all that, here's a photo of one of my latest costumes: Hiro Hamada from Disney's Big Hero 6! You'd think for such a casual and simple looking costume, this woulda been easy but nope!!! It took me FOREVER (and a friend's help in the end) to find the right style of shorts and the right shade of brown sneakers! I've gone through two hoodies (newer one not pictured) and two wigs!

I hand painted the robot design on his red tshirt by making my own two layered stencil, styled the wig myself, hand painted the seams of the hoodie to "distress" the hoodie giving it that worn in look, and made Hiro's sneakers logo.

Hiro means a heck of a lot to me as a character and his relationship with Tadashi at the beginning of the film reminds me a lot of myself and my own brother. We're even the same height difference as Hiro and Tadashi! Expect another shot being uploaded ASAP to show off the shirt etc!

This was taken back in May 2015 at MCM Comic Con beside the giant inflatable Baymax.
