Description A burnt out building in yaram, South Gippsalnd, Victoria, Australia. It was an ice factory, and now is just a burnt out shell full of junk.

We had a bare 15 or so minutes before we were due at the secondary college just down the road, so there was just enough time to snap a score or so shots.

We thought it quite funky and interesting.

It's amazing what you find in all manner of places. We're lucky that we get to travel with work a lot, and we try to allow time to stop and grab shots on the way. I love southern Gippsland to travel through. The landscape seems to change around every bend. It probably seems a lot less interesting if you live there, I suppose.

We had no idea it existed. We had 15 minutes or so before we had to start work. We raced around and shot every angle we could, wearing medieval clothing, then raced to the school to commence the day's presentations.

I barely had to fiddle a thing. It was a dramatic day's weather, I can tell you.

It was a gem of a find. Frankly, *Sadandal and I were amazed at the scenery heading south out of Traralgon down the Hyland Highway. We could have stopped about every 200m to capture a scene or sixteen. We'll definitely head back there.

Cool! I really need to spend some time away from the studio out and about around VIctoria. Maybe I'll run into you some time.

Because we travel for work a lot, *Sadandal and I always pack the cameras and try to leave enough time to get some shots if possible. The other thing we do is take note of good spots as we're driving around, and put them on a google map so we don't forget where they are (our memories aren't what they used to be when we were younger!). If we get a spare day here or there we do a photographic outing somewhere appropriate.

The other thing you and your fabo man might try is just to pick a direction out of Melbourne, and just drive. When you see something worth shooting you stop and shoot. It doesn;'t matter if you end up 50km or 500km away. A great way to see our state, and a great way to spend a day with a loved one, too.

Now that definitely sounds like our kind of a plan!
