Description Answer? It doesn't. First of all every couple's marriage is different from EVERY OTHER COUPLE. Same here, no mystery. Aside from that, if your answer is a RELIGIOUS one. WHATEVER HAPPENED TO SEPERATION OF CHURCH AND STATE? The Federal nor any State Government has no business deciding who can marry who as long as the two getting married arent already related by blood. I know for a fact I dont want to marry ANY of my blood relatives, of either sex!

If Same Sex Marriage cheapens you're traditional marriage, that says a lot about your marriage's ability to stand enough on it's own by itself!

People are just afraid of what they don't understand. They take a couple of passages from the Bible and use it to fuel their own discomfort. It's ignorant and sad....I know because I used to be that way myself .

I have no idea where it does. I'm a Christian and the Bible insinuates nothing of the like. Views like this seem to be based on uptight, traditionalist values which do nobody ANY good now that society has moved on.

And if you think about it, if "traditional" marriage was so great, it would be able to stand up to a threat. If same-sex marriage was an attack (which it's totally not), then any union that was truly sacred would be able to weather the (imagined) attack.
