Thank you! Yes, the width of the gauge is 1067 mm. Not standard gauge of 1435 mm.

I read about that. The 1067 mm gauge is also called cape gauge since, from what I remember, it was first used by the British for their railways in South Africa. I find it interesting that only the Shinkansen lines in Japan use the standard gauge of 1435 mm.

Yes,exactly. Though some problems exist, the cape gauge might be suitable for Japanese railway networks.
