This is a interesting set up. I know another one of my divent art friends who would love seeing this with the railroad crossing signs.

Are all the power poles in japan mostly cement and steel?

Thank you! In Japan, almost all power poles have been made from cement and steel because of superior durability.

Richmond VA has square cement streetcar poles in it but they are over a 100 years old from the Richmond  streetcar system in the 1920's.

I do hunt the porcelain  and glass knobs on the poles called insulators. The insulators are what keep the power from leaving the power line and going though the pole.
