This is really well done! I wouldn't even have known that the head and body weren't the same horse if you hadn't told me! It's also got an amazing atmosphere, and everything seems like it really belongs together (it doesn't have that cut and paste effect where it all looks a little 'thrown together' that some manips tend to have. Does that make sense?) Oh, and just because I know it can be kind of hard to do; the mist looks really natural too, not pasted on top or anything and not overdone at all, it blends really well into the background. Just one critique (well, more of a question, really); is the background supposed to be a waterfall or rain? Because if it's a waterfall the flowers? (white dots)/foliage are a little out of place (though the texture is nice behind it), and if it's rain I might have concidered adding a few raindrops over the horse as well (not many, the focus works well this way) just to make it all one... '

Wonderful blending! Flawless work, you've done a very good job here. May I suggest shrinking the head just a small amount? It seems the tiniest bit disproportionate at the moment.

Not a problem! I've just noticed that compared to the background, the horse is tiny, but don't worry about that - the proportion of the rocks is simply larger than what they were in the stock image, and that's fine.

I love the misted look as well as how certain spots on the horse looks clearly wet. Great smudging, and the colors are to die for. There's something vitally simple about this piece, but it makes it all the more beautiful. Reminds me of grey silk.
