Description
Northeast of Generica are the Gran Mountains, and the source of most of the city's mineral reserves. The denizens, known for their thick unusual accent are known as "Pitmen" because nearly all of their livelihood comes from the mines. Over the decades, they have trained and bred insect life to serve the industry. The crag beetle are not particularly intelligent, but very loyal and industrious, much like the northern folk who command them.

This specimen is the common green strain, a 3 year old female dubbed affectionately "Sweet Marie". She can lift 3 times her body weight and can carry a full grown human while scaling vertically and even upsidedown, provided the rider can hold on.
