A piece made for Heartsurge's new release, which can be found here :: [link]

I didn't have time to make more than one :/ wish I did. The PSD came out at 4.55 GB for this one, so it ended up being a PSB instead lol .

Original size: 9000x6000

C4D/PS

I'll upload the print tomorrow morning after work

nice render complexity, wish there was a different background.

Fair play. What kinda background were you thinking?

Darker in the middle and the closer it got to the edges and spotlights, I would have made some small glints for a better atmosphere and to accentuate the center and the right light effects.

This is super bombsauce. Is there any chance you could give me some tips on materials you used in this render? I have been into C4D for a while now but I've never really gotten too far along. I think a lot of that is the fact that I never felt very competent in my materials usage.

One very interesting render, has a nice metallic, kinetic feel to it, rather nice and vibrant. Sorry for the short comment, while I like abstract pieces they are hard to explain but do hold one wonderful charm if done right. Well done, keep it up.

ItΒ΄s a shame that only a few thousand watched your artworks.

Just watched your C4D tutorial and it helped me a lot, thank you for that! Your going to create some other tuts for c4d, maybe how to create some materials ? would be awesome. Or do you know some other sites where i can find some good tutorials for creating abstract render in c4d like that ?

Got a question: You know Justin Maller`s artworks? [link]
I`m very fascinated of his art too and asking me for a while how he is creating renders like that on the picture. At now I`m creating a map with artworks for an application to study graphic-design and i want to combine abstract renders with nature in style like that but i`m not good enough to create renders like that, so you got an idea how to do that ?

Would be incredible if you could help me but if you don`t want to share your "tricks & skills" as an artist, then i fully understand that

keep going the good work !

You must have a great computer and a HUGE monitor to make these amazing images! PC or Mac? I was thinking about buying a new computer soon lol. Nice work as usual.

Futurology In reply to zGasmz [2011-05-13 16:14:50 +0000 UTC]

My computers good....PC, built myself....I hate mac lol. As for my monitor it's nothing special really, my resolution is 1920x1080 and my monitor is 22.5". When working on pieces this big I'm usually zoomed out to about 12.5% in PS lol, and just zoom in for detail.

Thanks for the kind comment
