I was so excited when I was snowing on my birthday, so I went outside to take pictures, but when I had gotten my camera, the sun had gone behind a cloud, whereas before everything was kind of gilded with a beautiful golden light, the leaves, the barren branches, the snow, it was gorgeous, but sometimes it seems better to have a mental picture of things like that than a real one. I wish I could have kept watching for the sun to come back, but I had to do a paper for the next day.
All that, which didn't have anything to do with your photograph, being said, I really like the beautiful sunset clouds and silhouette of bare limbs, and snowflakes soaring like little comets across the sky. It's lovely.

and i know what you mean about sometimes the memory takes precendence over the photo. i had an experience last weekend that was like that--the memory can be manipulated by photos, too.
