this is one of my favourite sacred spaces in the world. it is always an honor for me to be at the harem al-sharif, and i weep for those who are not able to visit this holy place, due to the occupation of israel and the restrictions placed on access to the harem al-sharif by the israelis. jerusalem is a city for the world, and i pray that one day, the entire world may travel freely and unmolested to all of its sacred sites, holy for all the world's muslims, jews, and christians.
