Description
This is the (finally) painted version of a piece I did about a year ago, sitting at the booth last Gencon. At the time I noticed that the one dryad piece I had at the table was basically going quickly, so I started a new dryad as well. Let it sit on the bulletin board for way too long before attacking it, but it came pretty well I think.Thanks to Kyrn for spotting some anatomy issues as I was finishing it up.

hm looks like a couple people touch on it, but the green is pretty cool. Expecialy for a dryad which normaly gets a brown/orange/red scheme in kind of a fall look. While I like the idea of a dryad to do it in (perhaps a summer) different season realy brings a lot to the idea, and of course the skill in execution always helps.

I'm not sure of the exact definition for the root but essentially in means war or warrior. I formed the name for the piece by combining myrmidon- an ancient greek mercenary warrior- and dryad.
