Description A slightly more literal representation of the Bible verses in Isaiah 11:6-7,9. Original source of the Lion and the Lamb idea, demonstrating Christ's peaceful kingdom on earth.

"The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them. And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together: and the lion shall eat straw like the ox...They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea."

What an amazing thing to see!

Thanks, call me what you want.
The sheep wrangler was a conte piece. I actually gave it to Grandpa John for a Christmas/Birthday present along with a really long letter. He loved it too.

Totally agree with you there, can't wait for that! Also, loverly pic :3 What did you use for this? I never would've guessed paint...it looks like white charcoal on paper, so pretty!

It is actually oil paint on white canvas board. For some reason only a Fredrix brand canvas board works well for this. Other brands = Major Frustration. [link] A technique I learned in college, my teacher called an "oil wash" I really like using it.
