Awesome cosplay, by any chance were you at Tekkoshocon last year? I saw a Kaname there with a fan. Incidentally, I planned on cosplaying Sousuke Sagara last year, but just couldn't get it together.

If you do his summer uniform, all you would really need to add is two lines onto a short sleeved dress shirt. It's a super easy costume!

Yeah, and I have a shirt like that, but I think I lost it. Another problem though is the gun prop - I have a plastic gun that looks perfect, but most cons won't allow it because it can shoot stuff.

Well, I mean you could always buy or make a new gun that doesn't shoot stuff. I guess it's just whatever is in your budget. Some conventions don't mind you using nerf guns and stuff, as long as you have nothing to shoot. That really depends on the convention though.

Yeah, Ohayocon doesn't allow any sort of gun whatsoever I'm pretty sure. So I'd have to basically make one out of foam or something. Or I could commission one. We'll see. I just wouldn't want to cosplay Full Metal Panic alone!

I have used a plastic one at Ohayocon before that I painted black (leaving an orange tip.) It can shoot plastic dart, but I just left them at home and they didn't have an issue with it. I understand the alone thing~ I always cosplay with my friends! It makes it way more fun.

Yeah, the problem is that I don't have any friends who go with me to cons. I meet friends at cons, but I usually just have to find a photoshoot and try to squeeze in.
