I realized that a lot of Krystal's art is horribly shaded. That's a shame.I have a problem with not shading very darkly (because I'm not a confident shader), so I set a layer on top of the coloring/shading layer to Burn so it was more evident. I also need to work on textures, I think. Anyway, any tips on shading would be great!

There are many ways of shading. Maybe you could try seting a layer on top and shading with one color then set the blending to Multiply. You see, Burn isn't the best blending mode, it doesn't seem natural at times. Also, try following the natural curves to shade better. Anyway, nice picture ^^

ah, whoops, I should've specified that the Burn layer wasn't where I was shading; my bad
