Holy canoli, I think you just evolved into your next pokemon art form. 
I love the warm colour tones and shading on the chest plates, the various shades of shading around the back of his head and top of his neck, that texture-y appearance on the collar, and the subtle patchwork depiction of scales similar to what you did on the 'moonlight gaze' picture. He's got some pretty cool purple markings, and that sneering/self-satisfied expression looks devious! You mentioned trying heaps of different new stuff with this pic, what do you think about the outcome of your experimenting?

Wooooooaaah so beautiful and at the same time scary with that bloody and grinning face! The close up to his face make him look more impressive and stunning, and it shows better all you great skills with the details. I can really see all those new techniques and things that you used here.

Okay after sitting here speechless for a while let's try and make a comment okay? okay
First off HOLY SHIT. I think this is the only picture I know of that explores Serthal's antagonist roots. Really getting a Hannibal vibe from this (which is what I hope was the intent, cuz one of main influences...minus the cannibalism). The markings are love and I adore the cracks in his horns. The face and expression is awesome, the blood being a nice touch. Someone prolly thought that if they bind his claws he wouldn't strike out, cuz we all know how much he loves the thrill of the kill lawl. I love the shock collar as well! Really well done on that one. Only thing that's missing is a tiny Virith holding the leash. xD
I love the background as well. Very war-like and kind of reminds me of the background of the final fight of Godzilla (Yes still obsessed with that movie).
