I think the 80s MLP was awesome.. I just wished the budget cut did'nt get in the way in the show through the 1986-7 era. It would've been great for the entire show to have the magnificent and underrated Escape From Catrina/ Rescue at Midnight Castle artstyle which was creative and unique, very reminiscent to ''The Last Unicorn'. No, instead we got your average, bland artsyle that was very typical for the 80s...Sigh...The ponies looked cool at least..

I haven't watched this show much but I've heard about it.

I personally prefer FIM but I respect the older generations. Without this, there would be no FIM.

Yeah and I did noticed a lot of the FIM fans hate it.

I know. Faust stated about, that she wanted Firefly to be in FIM but couldn't because of copyright.
