Part 2 of 2 of my #ATLA / #LOK Poster/Clothing design that I wanted to animate.

The design is by #BadEye check their designs out on @teepublic or redbubble . I actually have the Aang Sweater/T-shirt/Poster. Need to get the same for Korra.

After breaking up the design and doing some path work I projected it in C4D using some quick geometry to give it some more depth. Originally I wanted to just multi-plane it in AE but after think a bit more it would look better to do it 3D. Though the end result is you barley notice the faux geometry unless your really looking for it.

I did the animation of the hair and clothing in #AfterEffects and rendered a sequence for each item to have it loop in #C4D where rendered out the final camera animation. I composited the whole thing in After Effects adjusting the color & adding in the extra particle/effects.
I did the sound design in Adobe Audition using the avatar state music for each avatar as the background music.
