Guy, as I remember(Well, I'm Canadian, but I still have some knowledge of the republican and democrate) democrate are not communist, living in Quebec, I can tell you that you can have a comfortable life with social service without having to pay 90% taxes. Yes quebec has a lot to pay in taxes, however we can all go to college and university pretty easily. I'm not saying: Vote democrate!!! What I'm saying is socialism is not communism

Did I ever once say they should be in charge of the economy? No. They would screw it up even more than big business. But as of right now, big business is what is destroying the economy, because they're destroying the smaller businesses which help solidify the economy. We're basically regressing to the pre-Theodore-Rooseveltian days. That is not the main problem here. Unemployment is a RESULT of the recession, the the CAUSE of it. The cause is the lack of domestic products. Big business doesn't use any domestic products, hardly ever.

It is still cheaper to make foreign products then domestic ones, because most of our products come from China, where the workforce is just about as poor as dirt. Lower the taxes all you want, you're helping nobody. Third world countries are the cheapest place to make products, and that will never change. The problem lies in big business.

It is quite obvious to me that you are an imbecile of the highest degree. You are ignoring the main point here, and that is that BIG BUSINESS IS DESTROYING THE ECONOMY. Big business is not bad, but it can't be the only thing out there, because when it is, we are only using foreign products, and no domestic. Basically we're importing everything and exporting nothing, which puts us into an economic hole.
There's an old saying that goes like so, "Money doesn't grow on trees". Although usually self-explanatory to people with fully developed brains, you have given me reason to doubt your abilities. Basically, we can't buy unless we have money. We don't get money unless we sell. If we're doing more importing than exporting, we lose money. That is EXACTLY what we're doing here. How often do you see a "Made In America" tag? Very seldom. It's because we don't have any domestic products, we don't make anything, and therefore we lose money.

If you do the math, you will find that if taxes are lowered, then it will become cheaper to make stuff in America. And if we get rid of big business, then where do you expect to get smart phones? Computers? Cars? Everything that can be found in a First world country? And you confuse me, are you conservative or liberal (in the sense (in the sense of economics, not freedoms, as conservative in a freedom sense is liberal in a economic sense)? Taxes would have to be lowered considerably to make it cheaper than foreign imports. Like I said, big business isn't bad, but it can't be the only thing our economy runs on, or else our current predicament happens. Look out the window, there's your proof. We need big and small to function.
I am socially conservative. When it comes to economics, I'll go along with whatever keeps us out of the hole.
A few ideas that would boost our economy: American-made vehicles being more widely used, domestically-grown food, domestic oil, and I think steel could be a little more widely used. If we started using more of our own resources, we would make more money.

High taxes hurt small business too. And, also, as happens many times in political debate, both sides have deeply encased themselves within their ideology, and cannot be swayed, so I, probably like you, have better things to do, then arguing over a mute point. Banners have always been a great driving force in solving American problems. For example: we used banners and now use commercials to recruit members of the army to fight in wars. It's just another way to get the word and support out there. Actions are being taken along with these banners. We Try to help the leaders make the right decisions but Obama refuses to.
