Hello everyone!This is a (very late) birthday present for !
Her Birthday was in January but since in that period I had exams (and I didn't want to rush the drawing like I did with my Gaara Fanart) I decided to do it now that I have a bit of free time. Almost 3 Months late... I'm sorry Kitsune ;__;
In the drawing, even if Matsuri loves rain, she feels a bit uncomfortable with thunderstorms. She doesn't tell Gaara, afraid of what he would think (a kunoichi that feels uncomfortable with thunderstorms). But Gaara can't help but notice how she flinchs in bed whenever a thunder strikes, and without letting her know that he is aware of her 'secret' he just hugs her tightly in the night to make her feel safe. Matsuri can't help but smile about that.
PLEASE NOTE: A reference was used for Gaara's arms and for the position of Matsuri's head!
(Even with reference, my anatomy is bad as usual...please don't look at their hands...)
Time : about 10 hours
Soon another birthday-present will follow this (Gaamatsu too, but that is not a surprise, considering that I always submit that
), and after that, I will hopefully be able to upload the other Birthday-drawings I have planned on time!

And now it's time for something in-depth!
I think that you have done pretty good job at drawing sheets and pillows, they are looking good and natural. Especially folds, which are often giving me nightmares. Speaking of folds, the window reflection on the sheet looks brilliant. Gaara's and Matsuri pose is very tender. Gaara looks very protective here, while Matsuri clearly feels safe.
About mistakes and such, the hole in Gaara's nose probably went for a walk somewhere 
I, however, forgot to mention that you handled lights and colours in this piece very well. Overall, I like it and I bet Kitsune likes it too

Hahaha I always forget Gaara's nose hole 
Now that you mention it, yep Matsuri's proportions on her hand are off (I'm not winning the war with hands lol

I also have a strong love for the couple, I first started drawing gaamatsu pictures when I was 16 years old and now...I'm almost 24 ahaha

I'm new to the series as a whole. I've only really been in this fandom as of the beginning of the year, but I swear one of the first ships I picked up on in Shippuden was Gaamatsu and I just love it man...
I've been working on stories but none of them are coming out quite right XD
