So about two weeks ago I discovered a webcomic called Stand Still Stay Silent. I found the printed version of the first part in my local library and I finished reading it all online. Obviously I loved it and now I'm obsessed with the story and the characters (especially Lalli and Emil c: )! I highly recommend you take a look at this webcomic, the art is fascinating, the story is amazing, and if, like me, you like nordic countries and nordic legends, you'll definitely have a great time reading this!

Aaaanyway, here's a bunch of sketches of two of the main characters, Lalli (aka twig boy) and Emil (aka fabulous hair). I had a great time drawing them! I tried to mimic the style of the original comic, while adding my little personal touch here and there. I used watercolor for the painting, and I'm really happy with how it looked in the end (when I'm using watercolor, it's either I make something really pretty or I create a brownish puddle of colors that don't look like anything ^^").

Stand Still Stay Silent is drawn and written by MinnaSundberg , the characters also belong to her.
