Chapter 6

             The convoy stared at Molly for almost a minute, never lowering the weapons they were so close to firing. Luna decided that Molly wasn't a threat first and lowered her weapon.

"Names Luna, we weren't expecting to see anyone around here." She replied but still felt a little uneasy as she looked at the rather young looking girl in front of her.
Late teens early twenties at best she thought. Molly looked over at the others but kept her focus now on Luna.
"Are you guys lost? I found your tracks and judging from the time it took me to catch you, it seems you guys went in a mile wide circle." Molly moved over to the hood of her truck and lifted herself up onto it and sat down.
"Yeah I guess you can say that. This place...what is it? There's snow on the ground yet none of us are cold and the trees are all glowing white. Heck even you seem to be glowing at least a little bit." Luna asked, the others now putting there weapons down and just watching.
"This..." Molly looked around and up at the trees. "...is known to us as Aspros Forest. Though our knowledge of this place is still far from being complete."
"Where are you from?" Sapphire spoke up. Her EBR now slung across her back.
"Huh? Where am I from? That's an odd question to ask. Well I'm from Silver Sky City."
"Silver Sky city? Never heard of it." Sapphire said rudely.

             A sudden tune started going off inside Molly's truck and she jumped off her truck and pulled out a cell phone and answered the incoming call.

"Hey James guess what...? Yeah you heard them...? Alright well come on over with Lulu..." Molly hung up the phone and put it in her hoodie pocket then went back to the hood of her truck.
"Who's James and Lulu?" Sapphire barraged Molly with more questions.
"Jeez you ask alot. If you must know James is my partner. Both in business and relationship. We're not married nor engaged yet. That's another story though." She said with a smile. "As for Lulu. Well you'll meet her soon. She's a bit timid when it comes to new people and that goes especially for people who arent close to James and I. They should be here in about four to five minutes. James I guess heard the engine sound of your trucks. He's about a mile away.

"Okay well how bout you tell us about you and this place while we wait then." Luna said with a gently and friendly voice.
"Hmm, okay well you all seemed puzzled when I said I was from Silver Sky City so I'll assume that your not from around Alpha and judging by your direction. You guys are people of the Echo Region. Which is very surprising if I'm right because I've never seen or heard of your kind coming anywhere near the river. Anyways James and I are part of a research division that was tasked with checking out Aspros Forest. This forest is growing at an extremely fast rate. Roughly expanding one mile each year. However it seems to only grow in one direction and doesn't exceed fifty miles across. James and I volunteered to investigate this place and we've sent reports back to the city once a month. However neither of us are part of the group that studies the expanse of the forest. I'm a xenologist and James specializes in xenolinguistics."

"Wait, so you study alien life? I haven't seen any other species on this planet but Humans. Are you saying there's actual living things on this planet that arent humans now?" Sapphire interrupted with a do you think I'm stupid look.

             James had finally arrived in the area but he was in the trees, hidden from view. He made a sharp whistle before jumping down from top of the trees and landing firmly on the ground twenty feet below. He stood up straight, a tall thin man wearing a hooded white sleeveless buttoned up duster, white khakis, white lowtop shoes with green laces and a green turtleneck like shirt underneath, with a white neck gator covering his mouth.. Almost like Molly's clothes. A few seconds later a loud howl was heard from nearby. Behind Molly's truck a large wolf with two large sabre teeth appeared. It had pure white fur and was almost as tall as the truck. Sapphire and Ebony immediately pointed there guns at it but before Sapphire could react James disarmed her EBR in the blink of an eye and had it pointing at Ebony.

"Dont even think of shooting off that cannon of yours if you wish to live." James said with an angry look in his eyes, most of his face concealed by his hood and the neck gator he wore. Ebony and Sapphire were caught off guard and didnt even see how he even managed to get the gun without a problem. Molly sat on the hood and just watched. The sabre tooth wolf now standing gracefully next to her.

Molly smiled before speaking. "Hi Lulu, did you miss me?" Luna, Sapphire, Ebony, and Rogue all stood there and couldnt think of anything to say but only thinking. That's Lulu?! "
