Description
I know it's been a while coming, but here are the results at long last! Without further delay, off we go!

Honorable mention:
Dootleman
We absolutely loved the idea behind this, telling the story of Shard- and by extension, Nicole- and how they come to terms with what they are, both separately and together. It's a sweet and impactful little comic strip and we loved the limited pieces of dialogue to really cement that. The lighting is also particularly eye catching here- it's very vibrant and deliberate.
SnowAntoinette
The painterly feel of this piece is just so good. It's very colorful and vibrant and I loved the little touch of Shard being plugged into the computer, and his conscious being aware of the world outside the screen. It was a humorous little touch that landed quite well! It's a cute little metaphor for their world versus the 'other one' and has a sweet little story element about it for that.

omnitit
We loved the casual, normal feel of this piece. It really felt like the embodiment of our initial idea- sweet and mundane life as seen through the eyes of two robots. The little details really make the piece, from the binary code on the pillow to the little Gameboy on the floor, to the pictures of the two of them on the walls and just the snippet of the chess board in the corner. The style really reflected this, with it's almost chalky lineart and soft coloring, it feels homey. We felt like it really took the idea into account and ran with it, hence why we loved it so much. Amazing work!

BohemianLizardKing
This really is a highlight of your gallery, Lizard! As frequently as you pop up in my inbox, this was an amazing treat from you. We thought it was abundantly clear how much work you poured into this piece to really make it stand out, and it most definitely worked! The shading is crisp, the poses are fun and the expressions are sweet and accurate. But the real highlight of this entry are the designs and the textures, particularly in the background. That really solidified to us how much you accounted for in your idea, in making the focus not so much a story but a fairytale. I feel like there is an entirely other side of this piece that is so interesting, like the knight and the wizard variants of Shard and Nicole have an entire tale of their own and that is exactly the way we wanted to feel about this contest. It's wonderfully achieved here, so excellent work! <3

FinikArt
Oh Finik you and your vivid imagination! The moment we saw this, we absolutely loved the idea. Taking advantage of the time of year and using it to create a unique take on the story idea was lovely. It really stood out in the crowd and we were just captured by it. The technique is fantastic. It's vivid and crisp and full of energy and emotion, and how you accomplish these things with markers I just don't understand, but it's amazing. The expressions are wonderfully portrayed and you've really captured their characters and it's all just fun to look at and read. We loved the creativity with portraying the digital world and making it so much more foreboding and intimidating than it is usually seen, and the cleverness in extending Shard's hand was a great, entertaining, and unique touch. Excellent work Finik, and congrats!

Hurricane: Buying Mittens“This hand...Here,” the Mother fox began one cold winter’s night. “Put this human hand through the door and say ‘Please give me mittens that fit this hand’. Understand? You must not offer this hand.”
The Mother fox revealed her right paw to her son, a kit who listened to his Mother intently. She gave those instructions underneath the silver moonlight in a forest filled with trees.
“Why not?” the younger fox asked curiously.
“When humans realize they’re speaking to a fox, they won’t sell you mittens,” the Mother fox explained. “In fact, they’ll catch you
The Heart's RebootBefore this if you asked someone what she thought true pain was, she would have answered the many times she thought her friends would die. Or maybe the time the Iron Queen warped her into her worst self.
.....But no....
THIS. This was truly raw pain. The kind that get's under your skin and makes your heart clench and your stomach feel painfully empty.
That was the pain she felt now.
"Are you sure you want to stay? It's no shame if you don't. We understand."
She turned to the older hedgehog. His kind green eyes showed the endless patience and kindness he possessed. His white mustache crinkled up in a smile. She shook her head and stayed still.
Mobius Remix Special: Cyber DateMobius Remix Special: Cyber Date
Morning time in New Mobotropolis, and within the home of Blade Steelhog, where right now, Blade is being pestered by his housemate, Shard the Metal and his myriad of bad pick up lines intended for a certain AI girl he seeks to date.
“Ok how about this one” Shard begins, “Hey Babe, whats your current? Cause you get me charged up every time I see you.”
“Dude are you trying to get Nicole to date you or slap you?” Blade responds, “Because that is just awful. These cheap pick-up lines you come up with just arnt going to cut it.”
“Like you have anything better.&
A Game of Chess “I’m realigning his last appendage now... Are we ready to insert the Power Gem?”
“Yeah, he should be ready to go.”
Nicole observed Sir Charles and Gear’s progress in fixing Shard’s body while keeping a separate eye on the screen monitoring the condition of his power core. The scans were steady for the most part, but Nicole still couldn’t help but worry. It had been a miracle when the two mechanics managed to salvage and fix Shard’s Power Gem core, but no one was sure if there was still anything written on it. It was highly probable that Shard’s base personality had been
