Amazing work! how do you achieve that texture? I ask because I have been trying
to recreate backgrounds like in the Hanna Barbera style and time period.

I use Corel Painter brushes that look like a real chalk for making the texture. I think they are the same as PS brushed you did.
My marathon stuff are drawn on the contest topics. I found myself be creative when I have a mission (plus competition!

I think this is my favorite piece from all of your daily contest pieces. I like the mute colors used in the "fulfill your destiny" piece, and it does hold the most "seriousness" I would say out of all the pieces here, as "fulfill your destiny" does sound a little more somber than some of the other themes. I think the best painting in here would be the "Bananas Sunset". I like the cooler hues of the monkeys compared to the bright, warmer oranges of the sky; the expression of the monkey on the left is great. He just looks like he doesn't care!

I'm really appreciate your comment. Fulfill your destiny piece was drawn from my personal life. I have just quited my job in Japan and coming back home to be an freelance artist in Thailand
