My mom's mother's day gift finished ^^ when was the last time you saw me actually color something of which I posted the lineart ? ... equiny, I mean ?

Also entering #The-Saddle-Club 's contest, but with not much hope of wining : some EEA artists entered as well x) but seeing as it was the contest that launched this piece, it would have been stupid to withdraw at the last second.

Colored with Copic markers then reworked over with pencil and Prismas. The background looks bad now that this yellow and this blue are together. Crap >< Next time I'll start with the subject and scan it before doing the background. Overall I find it lacks colors, I love my composition but I hate my coloring x_x
Well as usual, the scanner screwed up the colors. I had to rework them with my loathed Photoshop (yes, PhotoImpact still not working... *worries very much*) I actually found something I liked about it : it resizes with great quality. ONE feature I'm enjoying, yay !

Took me, erm... an entire evenning and part of Mother's Day morning
