No, please disregard the title. This is just a muscle study
Well, since Ilda Von Harzberg (right) seems to be one of my favorite character in the Historically Wrong Sketch Series, i'm just curious as to what her "male" version would look like in project WARRGH!
Drawing muscle anatomy is a nightmare, as i had to really study proper anatomy for it (and i bought a book just for that). Nevertheless, this is my first attempt and will work hard on improving it.
I think this kind of concept is called gender bender, and no, this is none of those " benders" from Avatar...(although it would be a cool superpower if included
). I kinda felt weird turning female characters into dudes, but since most of the male characters drawn will be someway related to their female counterpart, there should be some at least resemblances which can be justified. Please pardon any errors in the sketch, i think there's plenty of them.

I think you did quite a good job on the muscles, although maybe his lower half is slightly longer than proportional for the chest and upper abs β¦ don't take my word for it though as I'm not the best at anatomy

as for the muscle, you can try looking at some of the artworks here in DA (careful for the NSFW) or just study human muscle anatomy

Yes XD I often do it to my OC. Seeing this deviation making me want to do it again.
I study muscle a bit (because the olympiad problems don't contain much of anatomy, mostly biomolecular and biochemistry which I hate) but have no idea about the shape after it covered w/ skin. Thanks for the suggestion maybe I should search some drawing. :-D

Still, its nice to know that you can draw men too. I was a bit worried that your skills were confined to drawing females. Not that that's a bad thing.
