My third favorite yokai and because I couldn't deside what his evolution form to chooseI drew them all (yeas I know there's a fourth one but it's just the front one in different colors so it doesn't count for me)

That's a bummer, but it's also kind of understandable in a way as Yokai are very much part of the Japanese folklore and it's more of a, let's say, "kid-friendly" game and I'm not sure that many people are versed in Japanese mythology and supernatural tales when very young.
But then again I could be proven wrong.

The four one was gonna be on switch whit new mechanic and pit more... Let's say teen sentered style, you know those series that try to be more edgy for kids

Perhaps, though I think Yokai Watch is actually kinda popular in some places. They did get an anime which has been translated in multiple languages.
I mean, at my job (I work in a library) we got the Yokai guide and the manga and those are always out with some kids asking if we got any, so there's hope.
