An illustration I created for the Japanese Rock magazine, "Purple Sky". The group's name is Buck-Tick. It was pretty fun to draw. The 4th guy at the top in particular, coz he looks like he just walked through a sandstorm in a desert of cocaine.It's not often you get to draw visual kei j-rockers and retain your masculinity. I GOT PAID FOR THIS SO IT'S ALL GOOD.
This is not a paint-over. This is an entirely original image and the members are in entirely original poses. For those of you who have pictures of these band members in your wallet, I am sorry if they are not of absolute likeness. I DIDN'T GET PAID ENOUGH!

wow. the statues are of their visual kei days right? pretty cool. Shows them then and now. Jeez how theyve changed. In a good way though.
Its amazing how Toll always stays relatively the same though. His mowhawk is Buck Ticks defining feature no matter WHAT era. XD

ah, wow, i saw the link on a BUCK-TICK community way back when but it didn't work. i'm glad i found thsi though, i really want to tell you that you captured them really well! I love Sakurai's expression (the man in the front to the far right) and the rest are great! the statues are truely awesome
