Isn't fiddling with her kitten to a guy she knows, probably not an in intimate boyfriend/girlfriend/fuckbuddies manner...kindduh predatory and obsessive. I mean, I'm not along here, right? If this were Peter Parker beating off to M.J. before they were together, this would be considered perverted and wrong. There's nothing wrong with fondling yourself, but to somebody you know?

unconventionalsenshi In reply to The-Psychonaut [2013-11-14 16:12:19 +0000 UTC]

you seem like the type of person who was a victim of stalking In which case, I feel sorry for you. I myself am usually the opressor, due to my obsessive nature in general (ocd) and I sometimes cannot control if I take my crush on someone to the max. However, I have been on the receiving end of unwanted sexual advances/romantic creeping MANY times in my life and all I can say is that it stops being funny then . Usually it gets me agressive and never ever has a creeping person suceeded in their goal. I have also not suceeded, because once I turn from normal to obsessive, people RUN ^^. I know personally all forms of stalking is wrong and do not condone it, but once I am in obsessive trance, I can hardly do anything about it and do weird stuff. Usually once my obsession passes or moves onto a different subject, I feel very guilty and often apologize to my 'victim' for previous behaviour. By which time they don't pick up my phonecalls, so sometimes I can't apologize and just leave them scarred for life, I guess >,<

The-Psychonaut In reply to unconventionalsenshi [2013-11-14 18:53:04 +0000 UTC]

Um, okay. No, I wasn't. I've never been stalked. I'm just pointing out a basic hypocrisy among women versus men, wherein a woman stalking  a man is seen usually at first as a hopeless romantic and is usually given leniency; which often just burgeons her psychosis. The idea of a superhero, a bastion of ethical independence and discretion, doing something like--especially spidergirl, who's predecessor's creedo about responsibility and great power is legendary...yeah, that kind of annoys me. It makes her look like a maniac.

I'm also pointing out that this peep-hole nonsense in porn isn't healthy to portray.

unconventionalsenshi In reply to The-Psychonaut [2013-11-15 00:51:16 +0000 UTC]

Peep-hole porn has been around for years, as the idea of candid shots and getting into other people's lives unnoticed seems to be a turn on for some . For what it's worth, the popularity of so called gossip journalism (tabloids) is based upon creeping on people we admire/are interested in. You say it's inappropriate for porn, but have you noticed how socially accepted it is when it comes to dtalking Hollywood personalities? Because I think it's better to have one crazy admirer over millions of people shamlessly following every move of someone, just because they're a celebrity and they think they have the right to do so and talk about what a given person had for lunch and where they spend their weekends . For me THAT is truly sick, the acceptance of tabloids and paparazzi out there, because I feel there is a bunch of people who go batshit insane and have no privacy due to being observed 24/7. And I don't care if they have lots of money or 'asked for this themselves' entering showbussiness. I think it's just wrong to follow someone's move and money of their photo's, regardless how famous they are. But my own distaste won't do nothing, tabloids have existed and probably will never cease to exist, as long as people with no personal life want to read about personal lives of others *_*. What suprises me is that you are agitated by "peeping/vouyerism" theme in porn, when there is so much WORSE shit out there. Seriously, with shit fetish, vore, gore, bestiality, paedophilia and what else not, is creeping on someone from a distant location SO TERRIBLY disturbing to you? For me it's more on a 'whatever' level of grossness. Plus, it's porn, it's fantasy, just because one enjoys a theme in adult movies, doesn't necessarily mean they will go out and perform a similar action >.<. And porn cast is well paid to do their job and even if vouyerism occurs, it mostly is directed and 'set up' on purpose to entice the creeper (viewer) and not actual hidden camera or something (unless it is, in that case it sucks, but I have seen suck porn and always look around for cameras everywhere prior to undressing XD)
And I also don't think that women are portrayed as less harmless, on the contrary There is no feminist agenda that makes it okay for women to molest men and not okay the other way round, seriously... It's just that for centuries abusing men by my gender has been pretty much impossible and now that some of that abuse is heading the other way round, feminists are not so eager to defenf you guys. Well, for the sake of getting even, I guess. And in movies, a female psycho chick theme has been explored many, many times (i.e. 'Fatal Attraction' with Michael Douglas). Female predators are as dangerous as male ones, because in the end it does not come down to gender, but sanity of individual person and how far are they willing to take their 'attraction' . But given a choice of being raped of fapped to by a vouyer-dude from a distance, majority of people would probably choose the latter >.<. The more confused I am with your frustration with Ganassa's comic here. I mean, your a guy, you see a harmless lonely, attractive girl getting off to a guy she fancies... what's your problem with that? What's the big deal I understand you are some Spidey-fan and it collides with the superhero MO, but she just creeped in to sniff the clothes, she is a CREEPER. A pathetic, horny creeper. Really, do you see any potential danger from her to that dude in orange clothes? >.< Can you see her raping him by force of jumping onto him? I do not Let's wait for next pages, and I can bet the cards will turn and he will be the one coming onto her in the end.

Uh, first off, a paid journalist is someone's whose vocation specifies they take pictures, oftentimes when people aren't looking. One is a job, the other is a sexually-explicit obsession objectifying someone else. Do paparazzi and gossip journalist obsess brainlessly over the menial to-do's of the rich and famous? Yes. But that's called the capitalism of intelligence, meaning the person who's more ruthless, more shameless in their exposure of facts will get more relevant stories than those who are precious about the sensibilities of those being photographed. It's nothing personal or sexually predacious, it's business. Cold and simple business.

Also I think the fact that 70% percent of domestic violence is initiated by women according to a 11,000 couple/18,000 person survey and the violence against women act both would strongly disagree there's a culture that wishes to assume men as the sole and primary aggressors and women as the victims of aggression. These facts would suggest the radical and emphatic opposite of what you suggest. That and the fact that prisons consist of 95% men and according to the Daily Mail male rape eclipses female rape in america when one accounts for sexual assault in penitentiaries. Much of it performed by female guards, women of power.

In addition, female rapist and pedophiles tend to be more prolific because they can be; because society traditionally does not assume women as potential rapists. I could show you radio interviews with these women, still asserting their's was a love story, heterosexual or homosexual. Hell, a woman right this instant is discussing a book deal and movie rights to her forlorn trist.

There is no feminist culture deliberately trying to enable female predators, but it chronically lodges its ears and screams 'RACISTSEXISTANTI-GAY!' when anyone points out facts and figures on the subject.

If you want to discuss this let's use notes. I'm tired of people commenting on my comment. You say one negative question and everyone's gottuh build a log cabin up your ass about it. You guys wannuh jerk off to it, fine. I still thinks this particular erotic narrative is wrong.

unconventionalsenshi In reply to The-Psychonaut [2013-11-15 02:00:49 +0000 UTC]

really? have you seen a women's gossip magazine lately? Where panty-shots, beach bikini shots and boobs or ass of a celebrity, exposed on photo take up half of the issue and are a "top story". Not sexually predacious, not at all.

Wow, I'm not even gonna comment on your statistics unless I see a reliable source, because you could've as well taken them out of your ass. Domestic violence "initiated by women" in majority of cases? Seriously? ;__; Well, if by 'initiation' you mean not making dinner, having some questions about a drunken escapade or cheating, then I guess you're right

And nope, I honestly don't want to further discuss the topic with you, as I sense a religious/republican anti-feminist dude, who probably just holds a grudge towards women because he is shitlessly scared of them for whatever reason. And I cannot help you with that >__<

And if the comments are tiring now, you should've thought twice before you stirred up a discussion yourself and risked being flamed by Ganassa's watchers, who -most definately- would find your concept and problem ridiculous, as they were on that comic page and enjoying it too. Because you were not just being a dick about it, and showed disrespect to the artist itself (you do realize he is commissioning, so the script was probably not even invented by him?), the commissioner who payed for this comic, but also ruining that fap for other, random passer-bys. I imagine irl you would act as a cock-blocker of sorts too... Btw, do you even accept and agree with the existence of porn in general? Regardless of it's topic? Because if not, then there really is nothing to talk about. I recently met a Christian boy who would go around with his anti-porn propaganda and play on people's nerves. Still, his dick was quite eager to fuck randomly, so I guess men say one thing and do the other, because their 'other brain' takes charge in the end (aka 'the hypocrite' pure/religious person). Let's just hope you will be so determined when a sexy Spider girl sniffs on your clothes some day. If you resist the urge to fuck her, and are straight, then I truly applaud!
Cheers!

The-Psychonaut In reply to Johock [2013-10-24 03:05:09 +0000 UTC]

If you're a minor, sure. But to the rest of the human populace not under eighteen, it's kind of uncomfortable and eroticizes stalking. Not exactly the stuff of Spiderman.

It's also the immediacy of the fingering in question: it's right on top of the guy. I mean, masturbating to someone you know's picture or in the shower is one thing--it's still pretty pathetic, don't get me wrong---but it's not as proactively perverse as handling your clam to a guy out in public. Also what kind of hero dons her tights in view of the open air? In New York? Where business buildings, where rubber necking office drones, bored off their balls, could easily look out the window and see her? Or...anybody living in a multiple storied apartment complex? But it's porn so I'll give it that handicap.

Look, there's nothing wrong with the picture as a picture. It's beautifully drawn: but as a lazily cobbled together stroke scenario it's glorifying something that's pretty damn abhorrent. Masturbating in public is indecent exposure, sexual predation and also there's the stalking element; which is pretty skeevy too, saying quite a bit about our female lead and protagonist.

Here's a practice in gender psychology: Scrape away the kawaii school skirt and landing pad and slap on a bald patch and a lopsided cock. Then switch the teenaged man candy and his buddies to some busty coworker having a smoke break in the back alley with her girlfriends. Suddenly what does it look like? Sexual predation. It's only being glorified because it comes in a laced bra.

again, its porn. No porn makes sense. ex. "Hello, pizza delivery." "Oh, thank you. Let me just check the pizza...oh there is a penis in here, I'm sure i didn't order sausage but since its in here lets fuck."

The-Psychonaut In reply to Johock [2013-10-24 23:55:22 +0000 UTC]

Interesting, tell that to Alan Moore. Or 'Sunstone'. That's a comic that deals with two s and m obsessed female protagonists and it's...basically a story about excepting one of the most crucial aspects of any person's given individuality, their nature. The dialogue is punchy and heart felt and frankly the story's as thoughtful as it is erotic. It is a love story. It's a love story about two people reconciling themselves with a lifestyle choice but its themes of loneliness and the desperate yearning to belong to something greater, to surrender to something as all consuming and domineering as love for another person has universal merit.

It all depends on the author/artist's idea on how they want their piece to display emotions. If you don't like the story behind Ganassa's art, don't look at it.

The-Psychonaut In reply to Johock [2013-10-28 03:32:41 +0000 UTC]

That's a shit argument and it's been one since the "dawn" of time. That's like saying if you don't like the movie you just saw don't watch it in the first place. It makes zero sense. All I did was critique a lack luster (even for porn) plot featuring a predatory element. I'm allowed my own opinion and the ability to defend it.
