I think the concept is wonderful, and the character design is great too.

Well, she wasn't really cannibalistic. What she did is typical of rabies cases: it's pretty much the only form of suicide animals know. They reach down and tear out their own stomachs. Foxes tend to do it quite regularly, I do believe.

Really? How terrible. I know rabies makes you agressive, severe head pains, internal bleeding... Bleh.

It messes with the basic motor skills, so they can't turn, they can only walk in a straight line. That tends to happen in the extended cases, and normally by then they've been killed by something else. If they don't tear out their own stomach or get killed, they end up being completely paralyzed and they seizure to death. Their brain turns to mush, almost quite literally. We had a rabies scare here a few years ago, and I researched it to know what would happen if any of my dogs managed to get it.

That sucks D:
Did anyone near you have pets that got infected?

No, there were no domesticated animals that got it. They had found a raccoon in someone's garage that had it, but it didn't spread as far as they knew. They didn't find any other cases. Thankfully.

Lordy that would have been terrible. And what a fright for the person with it in their garage. x-x

But that was the first rabies case in over fifty years here, which is pretty amazing.
