Been WAY too long since I've drawn everyone's favorite mercenary, The Hood. He didn't necessarily need an updated 2018 look, but he definitely needed a sidekick. Introducing, Hoodlum!More of The Hood:

Nah, the Hoodlum character is meant as a revolving door of character types. Hoodlums are going to be street kids he recruits and uses as tools to complete jobs.

Ha! Nice idea! I think the Hood is possibly my favourite of your character designs - and the name 'Hoodlum' is so good for his sidekick that it kind of demands he exists, doesn't it?

I would prefer his sidekick to have a different costume colors, to give the boy his own spotlight. But seeing The Hood backs again make me so happy

The Hood uses Hoodlum like cannon fodder. Never know which Hoodlum he's really got with him at any time. He recruits runaways and kids off the streets. He's not really training an heir to the hood.

I started to draw a short story for him but never finished it. Maybe one day.

I remember this guy! He was tight, I liked the yellow cape a lot since it contrasted nicely with his black and silver outfit.
