I love Taokaka.I mostly did this so that I could prove to myself that I could still use makers. Luckily, I found that I have not completely forgotten the art of markers.
Copic and Alpha Markers (for the bright colors), colored pencil for tinting, and some heavy photoshooping.

I really like how you drew this submission. The pose and the dark coloring.
...But most of her outlines are red.

it was a bit of an experiment with colored line art, and me proving to myself that I can still operate art markers. The dark coloring was a bit of an after-thought that happened when texturing the background digitally.

They're good. They layer well, but they're very bright. It's hard to use them and keep to a specific set of colors, like those used by an established sprite-based character. They seem to work happily with Copics, though. So, that's good.

I did use copics, and Alpha Markers, and colored pencil. :3 the red line was just me testing out a new brand of ink

thanks, I only really chose the red because I wanted to try out the liquitex ink and I only had red from them.
I later justified it saying I wanted her to have a warm color scheme.
