In MGS4 his age has been drastically accelerated, its a make up of his DNA being a clone, he has essentially a small life span being a genetically engineered soldier to stop disobedience and going rogue.... Snake in MGS4 is dying, he looks very old, has pains etc despite being technically middle aged........ He has approached the end of his clone life span....
