Description
Now that I've finished with my AP art class (I actually finished in May, but I'm also a world-class procrastinator, so there you go), I'd like to share some of the better pieces from my portfolio!This is a still-life based on enlarging an object, and what better object to chose than a Gameboy Advanced.

is it sad that I relate game boy advances to pokemon so much I was subconsciously thinking this was pokemon related? Looks great btw, I LOVE the colors you used

Well I probably had Firered or Sapphire or some other Pokemon game in the cartridge while painting it, so maybe!

I had one of those when I was a little kid! Then the Nintendo DS came along...

I know what you mean, especially since the DS plays gameboy advanced games... Although I could never bring myself to throw it away! ^^

With the DS, you can't play the original GameBoy games... I have the original Pokemon Gold, Silver, and Crystal

Yeap, my brother gave me his white one when he moved out. But I hate that with each new game comes out, you sometimes have to buy the system to play it

Don't I know it! Though now, I just play on my Tablet and PC. You know, there are emolators (probably butchered that word) that you can get in the App store on Google that have GameBoy Advance games? My brother was telling me about it the other day.

Ah, you're totally right! Emulators~ I use them when a publisher refuses to port over a game to the US. xDΒ
Although, I didn't know Google had an app for Advanced games! Now that's pretty rad, I'll have to check that out!
