Portrait of Marina Diamands aka Marina and the Diamonds, which is also part of my Flowerspeak series. I originally wanted to make a picture for every song on her album Froot, but it was much more work I was able to take. I got inspired by the song 'Weeds'. The idea of it is basically that your past relationships are still part of you, the memories they keep coming back to you and distracting you or torturing you. I got fascinaded by that idea and I decided to portray the bad memories and all the bad things and thoughts and everything which you'd like to get rid of, but you can't, because its growing somewhere inside you like weeds, its imortal and it always just re-grows.
