The angle is very interesting, since I've mostly seen straight-on door pictures. I like it a lot.

Yeah I know, but its good of germans to put them there, half the staircases in rothenburg either dont have them or they are rotting away, and when you grab a rail 6 or more stories up and it wiggles its a wee frightening lol

It could be a good handrail... Made by any material or shape, but in order to respect the appearance of the building. I see that kind of stuff in the country I am and it's disgusting... There is just a few cool buildings and architecture stuff related and it's destroyed by non aesthetic sense from the gorvement...

Yeah, its very true, they could make it flatter the building, but germany is full of old buildings that are still untouched by new stuff, its the place to go for historic buildings!

I'm pretty sure its old, its a little door in an alleyway, right by the bell tower, I'm not overly sure, beacause some of rothenburg was destroyed in i belive the WW2 era, and it was rebuilt around that same time I think. Rothenburg is totally up your alley if you like old buildings like that, there are hardly any new buildings in the entire city, and you can walk around the entire city inside the wall, which is really cool!

Oh yes, any chance to visit Rotheunburg, defintly go! I've been there a lot and its just gets more beautiful every time I go. Too bad architecture sucks where you are, really to bad, because classic stuff just makes you feel more calm and at peace, at least it does for me. Ha ha, arent we all just a bit romantic, ha ha, yeah, I am quite a bit as well.

Yeah, thats the only flaw I have with this shot, I had to do it standing because I was trying to get a shot before the family walked through my shot. Next chance I get I'm probably going to see if I cant get another shot of it.
