Backstory

Deborah lived in Athens, Greece with her parents and her siblings after the prolonged civil war. She was living a wonderful life; however, Deborah went on a boat ride with her younger sister and her mother on a gloomy day, and a demon started controlling her younger sister's mind. She gasped in horror when noticing the demon taking over her mind; the waves have gone out of control when her sister experienced a horrid demonic transformation. Deborah rushed to help her mother to safety until Yesenia's demonic powers grew stronger and lashed them away from view, leaving debris over the boat. Deborah survived the aftermath of the horrific devastation, and she rushed to save her mother Taylor. Deborah tried CPR to revive her though her wounds her great. She rushed her mother to the hospital where she was pronounced dead. Heartbroken from the horrific tragedy, Deborah asked her father Patrick Dodgers for help. The only option he has given her is to go to New York where she will be trained as a ghostbuster by his younger cousin Egon Spengler III. She packed her belongings to catch her flight to New York City; from here, she stayed there in the firehouse. During the Manhattan's fate era, Deborah was kidnapped by a ghost and was possessed; fortunately, the young Ghostbusters manage to rescue her from the demonic possessor. She, later, joined the young Ghostbusters as the fifth ghostbuster in rescuing Jonathan P. Glenwich and battling Thelma, the principal of the school and a ghost hunter. In the Red Moon era, she met the original Dr. Spengler after entering 2018 during the Crymson incident. She was rescued by him after her Debatank malfunctioned; in addition, Deborah joined the young Ghostbusters and Dr. Spengler to defeat Thelma together in saving Juliet. After two years, Deborah became the hostess of a web documentary known as Paranormal Diaries with Winston as her cameraman. She interviewed one of the guards who witnessed the ghastly pandemonium and was surprised to meet her cousin, his older counterpart, and Ray. Now reunited, Deborah has the opportunity to find answers of her horrific past that involves her younger sister with guidance from Dr. Spengler.

Anime cutscenes disclose the city in New York in chaos of these ghosts. The camera shifts to a dark scene of a museum closed for quarantine. Flashing lights illuminate the proton pack, and it reveals a young woman flipping a handle.

Narrator (voiced by Laura Bailey): one reason I came to New York and spent my years of training before willing to be ready is the tragedy of my mother's death at the hands of my possessed sister. I will never forgive the demon inside her for murdering my mother, so I asked for the Ghostbusters for help and they accepted it. The feeling Dr. Spengler learned from my past is it was a looming experience I have.

The woman monitors for any ghosts haunting the lobby.

Narrator: Melnitz told me during the press conference confirms my thoughts of a possible encounter. It gives me a vibe of investigating the supernatural. When it comes to the paranormal, I know where I mark my encounter.

A horde of cubist poltergeists, three of them, emerge from the paintings, and the woman activates her weapons.

Protonically charged whips emerge from the handle, and she cracks it at the first cubist ghost and tosses it to the ground. She lashes it at the second cubist ghost, and the whip strikes the third cubist ghosts. The camera unveils the female's appearance.

Intro: Deborah approaches to the battle field and says, "ready when you are." She extracts both her proton whips from her belt.

Outro: she places her whips back to her proton pack and smiles, "never knew what has hidden them."

Till the World Ends by Britney Spears plays in the background. She performs proton whiplash at Vigo, and Deborah snatches him by the torso and performs spinning whip. Deborah stuns Vigo with ghost dust and performs crouching proton whip at him. She slides forward to tackle him and lashes her proton whip at him from behind. The camera transitions to her encounter with Thelma as she performs air proton whip. She performs double proton whip strike. She performs her first specter riser by stunning Thelma with ghost tacks, and they send her flying as Deborah extends her whip to grab Thelma by the waist and slams her to the ground. She performs her second specter riser by shocking Thelma with her specter taser stick and performs massive proton whip strike. For the finisher on ghosts, she opens the ghost trap with her right foot; she snatches Thelma with her proton whips and drags iher into the ghost trap.

Ending narrated by Deborah Dodgers: with Ivo Shandor defeated, I now seek closer to the truth about my past. So, Dr. Spengler provided me with a simple test that confirms who or what caused my younger sister to become demonically possessed as pictured from her red eyes and marks around her forearms. I asked the boys to come with me to Athens for support, and so, they did. From there, we battle against the demon itself. Next thing we come to recognize, it was the demon Vigo, the one who lurks under her bed. I came to check if my sister is OK, so we rushed her to the hospital in critical condition. I told her Vigo is the reason for the devastation around the world including here and NYC. Never again I would tolerate this profanity, so I bound to find more answers pertaining to my mother's death. The boys and I visited my mother's grave, and we were fortunate to survive this horrendous encounter.
