Description
Young Ray, Winston, and Deborah ascend to the second floor of the New Sussex Suite for any ghost activity after eliminating the magnoloid ghosts, and Deborah hears a piano playing by itself to a haunting melody, and she points her particle thrower to aim for an object though there aren't any until an array of papers manipulate to form a body. The suite was beset on all sides with taunting noises and life shattering careers of aspiring artists. A ghostly soul woman emerges from the piano, and her voice is heard singing in the background. Indeed, soul notes can be heard from the song sheet written in an English format. The woman appears to be in her late 30's, she has an olive complexion, curly dark brown hair neatly braided, grey eyes, appeared to be in a short stature and chubby, she wears a dove white night gown with an Obi sash and a fur coat.
"Watch out, the soul lady is singing!" Deborah exclaimed, and the two gentlemen and she engage in combat against the songstress after Ray verifies her as a class level 4 repulsively sour-toned banshee.
Ray extracts a proton arrow from his quiver and aims for the ghost who summons animated sour notes from her hands at his fellow ghostbusters. Deborah dodges them as Winston shreds the sour notes with his ghost trimmer. The Murky Songstress extends her furcoat's tail to snatch Deborah by the left leg and drags her forward. The ghost generates energy from her right hand and summons a sour note dragon to raid on the members. It inflicts a ton of damage to the three young Ghostbusters. It fades from its existence as Ray glares at the Murky Songstress. Her fur coat extracts its demonic heads and seizes at Deborah, and the three young Ghostbusters members dodge the attack. The Murky Songstress growls in frustration and hurls more ghostly soul notes at the crew. Deborah blocks its attack with proton shield and blasts her proton stream at her.
Her energy is off the charts, and I'm not liking the looks of this unholy adversary. Ray thought, and he ducks his head to avoid the sour note dragon.
He fires his proton arrows to eliminate the sour note dragon; Deborah dodges the ghost's attack and blasts her proton stream to catch its attention and sends it to the ghost trap.
He presses the button from one of his proton arrows and aims for the figure with practiced ease. She points her particle thrower to lash a proton bolt to blind her eyesight, and Deborah tosses the ghost trap to the ground for the entrapment. Ray locks in the coordinates to summon two ghost drones into the field, and they appear to blast their proton streams in capturing the ghost. She struggles to break loose from the proton streams and rambles around the walls as they drag her to the ghost trap.
"The sour notes got me thinking on failing the cello test, but my music teacher earned me an A for effort." Deborah responded to the two others, and she picks up the ghost trap from the ground.
"Practice makes perfect, Deborah." Winston replied.
"Indeed, the more you put more sufficient effort to the cello, the better it is to play music with it by avoiding the sour notes." Ray stated, and Deborah contacts Dr. Spengler to note they capture the songstress.
"We busted the Murky Songstress, and the piano ceases from playing its tunes." Deborah called him.
"Fantastic, but I'm sensing more trouble from surveillance. More entities appear to be manifesting black ink, and they appear to be class level 2 full-roaming smudges." Dr. Spengler advised them.
Young Ray projects his ecto-eyepiece to probe a manifestation of a ghost lingering, for a class level 3 elusive shapeshifter raids its scheme on the crew. In addition, the readings begin to flow off the charts. They hear scratch marks on the walls, and its crumbling noise startles Deborah when glancing at it.
A vicious horde of paperskin wraiths, seven of them, emerges from the walls to face the crew. Deborah extracts her proton whip after she loaded it to the proton pack for charging and faces the ghosts. The first paper skin wraith summons its ink ball from its sickle hands to summon a gash of ink to manipulate its attacks. Deborah extracts her particle thrower and blasts through its shields, and Ray dodges the attack and fires his proton arrow to scatter its psychokinetic energy. The arrow tweaks its proton streaks to ignite the flames on the figure to chastise it as Deborah and Winston blast their dark matter to eliminate the first paperskin wraith. Its accumulation of psychokinetic energy decreases as it explodes into pieces as the second paperskin wraith summons its ink ball to smudge on the crew. Deborah blasts her particle stream to cancel its defenses, and Ray switches to his particle thrower and blasts his dark matter to eliminate the second paperskin wraith. Winston blasts his dark matter at the third paperskin wraith and evades the black ink streaks; in addition, the third paperskin wraith summons its paper planes to strike the crew, but Deborah dodges the attack and blasts her proton stream to shatter its defenses.
Deborah dodges the possessed paper planes and blasts her proton bolt to drive away the third paperskin wraith. Ray fires his proton arrow to cripple its energy and swings his bow to strike the paperskin wraith, and Deborah dodges the ink streaks merging from the bottom. Winston stabs the fourth paperskin wraith with his ghost trimmer, and Deborah uses the capture stream on the third paperskin wraith's shield. Ray receives a transmission from Kylie on a better option to demolish the paperskin wraith horde. Ray's first ecto-drone runs out of proton stream power and returns to base to recharge, and the fourth paperskin wraith thrusts the second ecto-drone to a wall and is fractured into pieces. Ray somersaults to avoid the paper attacks and hides behind the debris.
The fourth paperskin wraith took out one of my ecto-drones before it disappears to recharge its streams; luckily, the first drone made it out safely. I must find a way to eliminate them faster before the others are at the clemency of these wraiths. Ray deliberated.
"It's resisting our proton streams!" Deborah exclaimed, and the fourth paperskin wraith summons its ink streaks and lashes it on the others.
The entity brushes Deborah to the ground covered in ink, and it drags Winston's left leg and slams him to a white wall.
"Kylie, those paperskin wraiths are resisting our streams. Are the dark matter arrows ready for deployment?" Ray inquired.
"Ready to be deployed at the speed of light. It takes your quiver a second to construct your set of arrows." Kylie replied.
"Good, I constantly need them to eliminate the paperskin wraith horde." he confirmed.
"Right away, Ray." Kylie nodded, and Ray ends his transmission as the dark matter arrows begin to construct from his quiver.
Ray dodges the fourth paperskin wraith's attack and fires his first dark matter arrow straight to its heart, and it explodes due to its streak of energy decreasing its stability.
"Winston, I need you and Deborah use your capture streams to aim for the shields. I will eliminate them with these dark matter arrows Kylie deployed to my quiver." Young Ray responded, and the fifth paperskin wraith screeches at them and summons its ink tentacles at the crew.
Deborah slips from the fifth paperskin wraith's attack and blasts her capture stream to break through its shield, and Ray fires his dark matter to pin the fifth paperskin wraith in the chest as its energy detonates due to its effect. The sixth paperskin wraith screeches at Ray until he fires his dark matter arrow at its face, and its energy disperses and eliminates the fiend. The last paperskin wraith summons its black ink ball at the others but missed as Deborah and Winston encircle the adversary and blast their capture streams at the fiend as Ray fires his last dark matter arrow to pierce its chest, eliminating the ghastly manifestation.
The jet black ink around Deborah's body fades away, and she glances at it fading and eases to her feet.
"Your plan worked, we cleaned their clocks up right." Winston smirked.
"Now we need to note where our class level 3 elusive shapeshifter is rambling within its spaces." Ray assumed.
Deborah glances at one of the ecto-drones engulfed into flames and extinguishes it with a fire extinguisher, and she contacts Dr. Spengler with her iPhone on the structural damage.
"Doc, one of our drones was destroyed by one of the paperskin wraiths." Deborah whispered.
"Darn it! They cost me a lot to rebuild it. Who am I kidding? I'll have it fixed, until then, capture the elusive shapeshifter." The older Egon advised, and Deborah nods her head and understands the objective as she ends her transmission with him.
The figure appears to be a male wearing a grotesquely gray mask with demonic features annexed with cryptic symbols chiseled over its cheeks and forehead with hands possessing red flames, for an adversary distorts his body to reveal his grotesque form. The team of Ray, Winston, and Deborah encounter the adversary. It generates ghastly energy from its left hand and shapes it to an axe; it slashes Ray in the abdomen, sending him flying to a wall. Winston glares at the adversary and charges with his ghost trimmer; the ghost dodges his attack and shapeshifts to a spectral hand and shoves him to a wall.
"Looks like the masked shapeshifter ghost is throwing his organic tissues on us." Ray evaluated.
"Winston!" Deborah exclaimed, and Ray glances at the adversary as it draws its fingers to the ground.
The figure springs to avoid the proton arrows Ray fired at; Deborah blasts her proton stream to snatch the adversary but misses, and the shapeshifter ghost strikes Deborah with its right arm. Winston eases himself to his feet and glances at the fiend, and he retrieves his weapon and then dodges the fiend's claws.
This ghost is unlike we encounter, for shapeshifters are more troublesome than wraiths and demons from the ghost world combined. The ghost almost pulverized me with his own body when channeling through that horribly shaped mask. Winston thought, and he brushes the dust from his plain white t-shirt.
They roam towards her until she jumps out of the way and blasts her proton stream to catch its attention, helping Winston out.
Young Ray oscillates his bow at the fiend and spins it to inflict damage to it; Deborah lifts him back to his feet as the two turn to face the shapeshifter ghost. By the same token, the team ponders of a strategy to zap their proton streams in catching him. Ray snaps his fingers after discovering his plan, and the team encircle the hideous fiend and blast their proton streams to catch the entity. Deborah and Winston blast their proton streams to entrap the shapeshifter, and the green light from his watch indicates that Ray can summon his ecto-drone again. He installs the combinations to summon a new ecto-drone to the field in capturing the ghost. Deborah and Winston slam the elusive shapeshifter to a wall with their proton streams, and they drag the adversary into its trap. It disappears into base after clearing the terrifying entity.
"We clear the second floor for now though there are some on the run." Ray stated.
"I hear you, man. That elusive shapeshifter is really a tricky ghost to catch." Winston responded.
Deborah contacts Dr. Spengler from her iPhone, "we have the elusive shapeshifter into the trap, doc."
"So far, so good, Deborah. Although I'm surprised on the mess it made with your previous encounter, we assume the Gloomy Painter has resembled in the onset of the hunt. Most of the facts I gathered from computer interface the possible exception to exorcise the enemy by devaluing his psychokinetic energy." Dr. Spengler stated, and Deborah and the others understood his objective as she ends her transmission with him.
"All we must do is find Egon and Peter and stop the Gloomy Painter." Deborah responded to Ray and Winston.
"And claim the third piece of the Gozerian scepter, too." Winston added, and they continue to examine the second floor before returning to the others.
----
Entering the fourth floor, without a trace, Young Egon points his ghost sniffer to detect for any ghost sightings, and he surveys a mirror filled with ghosts swarming everywhere. Peter catches a glimpse of the structural integrity of the halls, and young Egon surveys the halls for any activity. A cold shoulder touches the young Egon, and he leaps from its touch and points his particle thrower. He realizes a number of ghosts emerges from the walls, and young Peter places his hand to a wall as it vibrates its ghostly energy.
The ghost of Mildred was too petrified to note where the Gloomy Painter has wandered off when we eliminated those fraternal student ghosts. Indeed, in the annals of the 1800s, it is becoming one of the most disturbing cases New York has covered throughout recent years. Young Egon thought.
The winds blew counterclockwise as echoes reverberate across the halls, and a first ghost appears in front of young Egon who appears to be in her late 20's and is killed in 2007 along with two more girls by lynching from the next generation of fraternity and two boys who betrayed the fraternity. They all have pale complexions and have the same ebony bob hair, and the two boys are wearing their hair in ponytails. They all wear jet black gothic outfits that represent their association with black magic. The first goth ghost glides to attack the young Peter, but he activates the proton shield to deflect the attack as young Egon blasts his particle stream to capture the ghost and decrease its psychokinetic energy. Young Peter blasts his proton stream to snatch the female goth ghost and drags the ghost into the trap. Young Egon blasts his proton stream at the second female goth ghost and slams her to a wall with it five times, and the ghost grows weary after struggling to break multiple contact. The third goth ghost summons spectral winds from its unstable hands and lashes its razor wind power on them. Young Egon activates the proton shield to negate its sinuous wind power from touching him.
Young Egon punches the goth ghost in the abdomen with his proton fist, whisking it from his sight and scattering away its psychokinetic energy. The third goth ghost summons a flock of one-eyed flying demons from his hand and commands them to attack the two. Young Egon dodges the flying demons and throws a barrage of proton punches at them, and Venkman blasts his proton gunfire rapidly at the third goth ghost. The proton stream decreases its psychokinetic energy, and Peter and Egon drag the ghost into the ghost trap with force. Young Egon pounds the fourth goth ghost in the face, and the figure hisses at him. He socks it again in the abdomen and face, and the proton bolt tosses the fourth goth ghost into a wall, causing the entity to fall into the ghost trap. The fifth goth ghost summons a swarm of one-eyed demons at the two young ghostbusters members.
I hate those things. They keep on appearing from nowhere. If I don't get rid of them, it will be game over for me. Young Egon gaped in aghast, and he dodges the 12 one-eyed flying demons and launches his proton bolts to destroy them but missed.
Young Peter blasts his proton beams at the one-eyed demon horde, and young Egon punches one of them in the eye and delivers a flying kick to send it flying to the fifth goth ghost. The young Venkman blasts a proton beam to disintegrate the 12 one-eyed demons and smite the fifth goth ghost. Young Egon zaps his particle stream to capture the fifth goth ghost and presses on the pedal to open the trap. It struggles to break loose until Venkman blasts his capture stream to drag it inside. After entrapping the ghosts, young Egon retrieves the ghost trap from the ground.
"Now to find the tape." Young Egon responded.
"Right, hopefully we can pay this fiend a good visit." Young Peter nodded, and the two hustle to find its location.
At a nick of time, the two young ghostbusters approach to where the tape covered in residue is located until they realize some entity stole it from them.
"Looking for this, boys!" a pretentious male voice called to the two gentlemen, and their heads turn directly to a mirror ball-headed entity wearing shield sunglasses and a sparkly jumpsuit with disco colors to keep the light from blinding his eyes.
"That voice? Could it be?" Young Egon inquired, gaping in surprise.
"Not again!" Peter exclaimed in protest, and his long-time foe Mr. LeDisko has returned to dupe the boys.
"Well, my, you two have grown. How's it been?" Mr. LeDisko jested.
"Give us the tape, you mirror ball scum!" Young Peter raged, and Mr. LeDisko flips apart from the staircase.
"Then, let us dance!" he smirked, holding the tape in his hand.
"I'm not playing your wild games, give it to us!" Venkman scolded.
"Say please!" he responded, polishing his platinum hand when holding Venkman with his index finger.
"Please!" Peter grumbled.
"I mean, 'pretty please!'" LeDisko suggested.
"OK, knock it off, LeDisko! Give us the tape, and we promise to spare you." Young Egon suggested.
"The word I'm looking for," Ledisko pondered, rubbing his chin and gazes to the young Egon, "nope!" he chuckles and floats away, leaving the two gentlemen chasing after him with their proton streams to capture him, "miss me!"
LeDisko dodges the proton streams and floats into the air, "and now you're going to kiss me!" He shakes his butt, enraging Venkman as LeDisko walks through a wall laughing miraculously.
"Let him go, we have enough trouble with him for one day." Young Egon suggested.
"But he got away with the tape!" Venkman shouted.
"We'll get it back from LeDisko when we needed help from Slimer. Besides, active samples won't be collected themselves." Young Egon stated.
"You know, you're right about what you said. It's only an active sample. If we were to have Slimer in our team, then we will catch the tape from LeDisko's hands in a few seconds or less. Now we take our ghostbust to the fifth." Young Peter smirked, patting young Egon in the back.
"Right, we should capture the last ghost before we encounter the Gloomy Painter." Young Egon replied, and the two gentlemen exit the halls to find a flight of stairs to the fifth floor.
One day, LeDisko, your elongated reign will end soon. Young Venkman deliberated.
