The premier atmospheric fighter-bomber of the UNSC Army since the late 25th Century, as well as a multitude of human armies across the Orion Arm, the Kaskara hails from the same lineage as the venerable GA-TL1 Longsword. Used as a substitute for the Longsword after the UNSC Navy and Air Force purchased all the production contracts for the fighter, the Kaskara has proven an invaluable asset in atmospheric air support and air superiority for the UNSC Army, particularly in the Outer Colonies where the Air Force's presence is virtually nonexistent. Armored and armed to the teeth with weapons for attacking aircraft or ground targets, the Kaskara has been the bane of many throughout its long career, including numerous Covenant formations throughout the Human-Covenant War.
