When I first saw this work what grabbed me was the lighting. I had no idea the subject was so famous. All I saw was wonderful contrast from the building to the sky. The many textures of the tower also made me swoon! The lighting and the time of "day" really make this a more powerful shot. Powerful in that it is so differnt. The fact that the artists chose not to take a full shot like so many others would, but rather give us a wonderful close up, shows a fresh and orginal mind. The focus is more powerful in the bottom left corner but to me that makes it all the more sweeter.
