To impress his father he became a royal guard student through this he meet Sally Acorn and the others. During this time he also notably grew a crush on Sally and became close friends with Bunnie. In Robotnik's coup he escaped to the Wood Zone and would become on of the founding members of the Freedom Fighters. He should be noted for being cowardly and makes is triumphs in battle more grand in scale when retelling the stories. Even with this he is still a loyal member and will protect toughs in need.
