I did this portrait as a relatively fast practice piece similar (but unrelated) to my Green Shadow painting. If only I could finish everything I do as quickly as this one, then I wouldn't get tired of them and enjoy them all the way through. Well, that's why I'm practicing! I felt like it had been a while since I'd really done many males--especially the somewhat less feminine kind (I bet most people would still find this one feminine, though *sigh*); hence the choice of subject. It is a lot more masculine than your previous males, I remember your males from the past that I totally thought were hot chicks xDDD.
For a speed painting it looks about as good as your highquality stuff. I like the reddish nose ^^

LOL, I'm definitely trying to get away from the too-androgynous male when that's not my intention! It's always kind of embarrassing for people to refer to my guys as girls...
I wish I could do everything so fast! I'm tired of getting sick of my paintings partway through! And I like the reddish nose too. ^o^ It was actually the influence of Jo Chen that got me started doing that, hehe.
