Description Commissioned by my good friend (aka CAD).
This is the "cover art" (if you will) for the "Water" chapter of a fairly popular Pokémon fanfiction of his called "Eon Fable".
For this one, I decided to go full vector mode. The wooden pole next to water doge is an element from the story. Something about shadows and sunsets.

ScytheRider is also known as CAD?  What does CAD mean?

"CtrlAltDestroy". He's used that name in other places (and still does). It also predates "ScytheRider" by a few years.

Ah, so there's the first cover art of Eon Fable.  And what better way to start it off than with Jasmine?

I'm pretty impressed with how this looks.  While I always considered this particular story to be rather light-hearted, I do think this scene probably explained the overall idea of the story the best.  It was about someone who was scared of change and didn't want to go anywhere, and I think this picture shows just how alone she felt in all of that.  The barren land and the lone stick also do a good job of showing that sense of isolation, as well as the setting sun over in the horizon.

So really, I think you did a good portrayal of whatever Scythe/CAD described to you.

He provided me with a basic draft he quickly put together in Paint. That, and some context in written form.

Thank you, it looks great! I'm immediately adding it to my desktop wallpaper rotation.

Also I hope you don't mind if I later make a modification to this image, to add words to it and such, and upload it to my own account. If I do, I'll link back to here.

I look over millions of miles
and everything looks so small
so distant
and so insignificant
but as I look; I know not
its true size and depht
will I be disappointed,or
pleasantly surprised with what I find
am I looking at a mere pebble
or a berg with no scale
am I looking at a laparas or
just a shell.  I can never tell
what awaits me out there
but to find out
I must swim that first mile
but do I dare.

this is awesome and inspirational great works
thanks for the inspiration
