XD by looking at lots of different kinds of trees, trying to find the 'atterns' behind them, so then, when you're drawing them on your own, you don't have to think about it too much and your hands basically do the drawing for you, from memory...
but referencing lets you get the hang of how things are while you're still learning.

but know that: wishing alone brings nothing. Instead, make exact plans for practicing your problem areas and taking the steps to overcome them~ gradually~ ^_^ as not to be overwhelming... and don't compare yourself to others... we're all at our own different levels... so, it's not being fair to your own self. ^^ good luck-- you can do it. ^_^
