Everythin' ya need to know. XD Gigantor's color seems to be up for debate, as some pictures portray him as blue, while others make him grey. I suppose it's a matter of artistic preference or sumfin'.

Oh my god...I actually remember Gigantor. It used to be on really really early on Adult Swim before it was replaced with Voltron...XD It's one of the old old animes out there with black and white coloring, primitive designs (for anime, at least), and terrible voice acting and animation. But hey, lots of TV shows back then had terrible voices/animation, anime or not, so I can't really blame 'em.
Y'know, I think the old skool Astro Boy had even worse animation. Actually, it couldn't even be considered animation, just still pictures played in succession with voiceover narration and dialogue. But then again, Astro Boy's probably a bit older than Gigantor, and it's still a classic and was admittedly pretty cool.
btw, did you know that Gigantor's actually blue? 
...that opening theme song haunts my dreams...
